The 2022 Technology Innovations Awards (2022TIAs) were held at the Vancouver Convention Centre on
October 6th by the BC Tech Association.
MeetAmi won “Excellence in Technology Innovation”. This award is given to the company that is
developing breakthrough technology solutions that are significantly impacting markets and showcasing
next-level innovation.
The MeetAmi team took to the BC Tech stage to accept the award and Sarah Morton, Chief Strategy
Officer, accepted the award:
“This is a shock because we didn’t think that a Web3 company would win. Thank you everybody. This
has been one of the most challenging start up roads ever and I want to thank our team for building the
impossible and I want to thank Vancouver for being such a great tech community. I want to dedicate this
award to a lovely member of our team who passed away this year, Victoria, who just inspired us and
gave us amazing energy and thank you everybody for doing this.”
